Join Chef John Ash as he shares his culinary insights and adventures on Saturday, August 9, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Windrush Farm in Petaluma. Voted “Cooking School Teacher of the Year” in May, John has recently released his updated and revised cookbook, From Earth to the Table: John Ash’s Wine Country Cuisine, which features 45 new recipes. Amid the rustic setting of a working farm, the event promises an extraordinary experience in true Sonoma fashion – with wine and a special wood-fired pizza designed especially for the event by Mimi Luebbermann, owner of Windrush Farm. The event includes live music from Arann Harris of Bluebellies Band fame. There is a minimum donation of $35.00. All proceeds of this event benefit the ninth annual Sonoma County Book Festival, scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2008, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Old Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa.
