| Classic Cooking Academy is hosting a fabulous tasting event that will showcase great food with fine wines from the Pacific Northwest. Your host Chef Pascal Dionot has composed a wonderful five item tasting menu that will balance the flavors of the Pacific Northwest wines, featuring such tasty dishes as:
Baked Brie with Almonds, paired with Hyatt Chardonnay
Asparagus Risotto, accompanied by Cooper Hill Pinot Gris
Flank Steak au Poivre, balanced with Roza Ridge Merlot
Beef and Tomato Chili, set with Cooper Hill Pinot Noir
Berries and Sabayon, paired with Vin du Lac Sauvignon Blanc
Along with each course, we will also briefly discuss the unique characteristics of the wines, speaking about the regions from which they come and the properties that allow some of them to feature status as organic and biodynamic wines.
Come experience the flavors of the Pacific Northwest by Chef Pascal, who brings over 30 years of culinary expertise and experience to your table. Located in north Scottsdale with a commanding view of the McDowell Mountains, Classic Cooking Academy will be able to accommodate 50 people for the tasting event, which costs $30 per person (inclusive).
